Autonomous maritime systems are evolving from promising concepts into trusted operational assets. During REPMUS & BOLD MACHINA 2026, NATO's flagship exercises for maritime defense and special operations, Maritime Robotics collaborated with naval forces and industry partners to test how uncrewed surface vessels strengthen coastal defense and maritime security.

The exercise proved that autonomy is not only about uncrewed vessels. It is about giving people better tools, better awareness and more operational options in areas where traditional operations can be risky, costly or difficult to sustain.
